One theory posits that the triskele represents reincarnation, as it consists of one continuous line that could be analogous to the unbroken movement of time. Focusing on sacred shapes creates an internal harmony and can be part of a healing journey. Each one deals with some aspect of personal growth, human development, and spiritual progress. Other Trinity connections associated with the triskele are life-death-rebirth, past-present-future, earth-water-sky, and creation-protection-destruction. The symbol itself is a combination of three Sanskrit letters A, U, and M, which represents the union of mind, body, and spirit. Its origin is based in Hinduism however it has also been adopted by a number of other religions such as Sikhism and Buddhism. Recognized by its 13 circles and straight lines, the Metatron cube is thought to contain all the geometric shapes found in all creation. The symbol is also thought to represent the three worlds: spiritual, physical, and celestial. OM Symbol OM (or Aum) is considered sacred as both a sound and a symbol. Triskeles feature prominently in both ancient and modern Celtic art, as they evoke the Celtic interpretation of the three realms of material existence: earth, water, and sky (and all their interconnections). Widely regarded as one of the oldest Irish symbols in existence, it appears on the Newgrange kerbstones, which date from approximately 3200 BC. The Triskele symbol, otherwise known as the Triskelion, is a trilateral symbol consisting of three interlocked spirals.
